Terminal services

The berth of LSEZ “TERRABALT” SIA is one of its kind in the Port of Liepaja. It is 210 meters long and 50 meters wide, allowing us to service two vessels simultaneously. The berth allows to handle vessels with draft up to 8,6 meters and length up to 190 meters.

Stevedore services offered by LSEZ "TERRABALT" SIA includes ferry line and container line services and handling of a large range of general cargoes. To ensure a qualitative solution of any assignment, the company is equipped with all necessary equipment and technics. Loading-discharging of large-size and heavy cargoes is guaranteed by the portal crane.

In addition, LSEZ "TERRABALT" SIA has its own special cargo-lifting mechanisms and equipment to provide service for container lines.Also we have a great experience in railway transportation and different equipment for handling and reloading of cargo from trailers to wagons for further transportation by the railway, as well as for reloading of cargo from trailers to the warehouse. Our experience and competence guarantees quality handling of heavyweight and large-dimension cargoes with no limitations. The company is able to service up to 300 trailers daily.

This is facilitated by the terminal, which is located next to the berth. The administration of the company, customs brokers, ships agents, transport department and currency exchange, all located in the same terminal building and provide round the clock services for the convenience of our customers.

In 2004 we received a certificate of compliance with the international ISPS code of port security. Our terminal has a permission to handle and store dangerous cargoes and exclusive permission to bunker the vessels from road tankers at our pier.
